Busy summer...

We have had such a busy, fun filled summer. I can't believe it's coming to an end!

To start off, we had Emersons sister, niece, and nephew come up for 2 months! We had such a great time with them. Dago ( our brother in law) arrived a month after, and we all went up to Whistler for the weekend! Emerson and I celebrated his birthday by going Ziptreking. It was AMAZING! I was very scared, but it turned out to be so exhilarating. We did the Eagle tour which is the medium one. It had 5 lines, and 5 bridges I believe. The longest line was twice the length of the Eiffel Tower! It was great! We went through the forest, and over the river. I would definitely recommend anyone going!

Emerson has been on a new schedule, and it's great. He works 4 days on, 3 days off. His 4 day shifts are long ( 2 10 hour, 1 8 hour, and 1 12 hour). It is hard to be with the kids all alone for that long, but its worth it when Em is home for 3 days. We can actually relax, and get stuff done! His schedule will be changing in September to 3 days on, 4 days off! I love spending time with him. We have been watching Game Of Thrones, and just finished the last episode last night. It is by far my favourite show! Now we have to wait until March for the 3rd season to come out...

We are also preparing to go to Texas at Christmas. We will be buying our tickets in the next few weeks, getting the kids passports etc. I cannot wait! It will be nervewracking travelling with the kiddos, but I am so excited to spend Christmas with Vanessa and the kids! We will be going to NASA, the kids museum, and maybe even New Orleans! We are gone for 2 weeks! Yahooooo!
