Springtime!

I definitely need to get on blogging more...

It's May 1st today... where has the time gone? The weeks fly by so fast! Lily is going to be 1 at the end of the month! She started walking at 9 months, and is always on the move! She talks quite a bit- she says mummy, daddy, "lijah, no, dirty, happy, and Amanda. She also can sign "more". She is pretty smart ( although most parents say that about their kids). She is really sweet and happy. She still sleeps in our room, and most nights ends up in our bed for half the night. I've turned her into a monster, but it's so hard to let her cry herself to sleep, especially when we are right next to her in our bed.

Elijah is almost 2... I can't even believe it. He is one smart little guy! He can identify a ton of animals, he asks for food in spanish, knows all of his favourite shows. He is a little monster though, and I am exhausted at the end of the day! He gets into everything, and has a bit of an attitude. He is just like his dad when Em was little!

We have been lucky with the kids and their health. Lily has had only a few coughs, and Elijah even less. However, this weekend he started coughing alot, and on Monday was really lethargic.I took him to the doctor, and it turns out both of his ears are infected! Poor little guy. He is on antibiotics, and that should clear it right up! Somehow he stills finds a way to get into trouble.

My brother Andrew is coming home in a few weeks from working his job on the cruise. I can't wait! It's been 7 months since I saw him. He will be home for 2 months before he leaves again.

In other sibling news, Emersons sister is coming up for the WHOLE summer!!! We are soooooo excited! The kids are coming up too, and then her hubby is coming up in July when he's done teaching summer school. I know Emerson is super excited. He always gets a huge smile on his face when I remind him how soon they are coming! ( June 2). We are going to have a blast with them, and our house will be full and noisy! Can't wait!!
