First time!!

So we have this blog to blog about blog worthy things. Since I am still new to this I have no idea what to blog about. What does blog mean? Anyways I am the husband in this Family and the dad. I think it should become very obvious as to who is writing... oops i meant blogging because my writing/blogging style will be very different. Anyways, I love my kids and my wife! here's a poem I just wrote today. enjoy responsibly!

The seconds tick away bringing the day to a close

seconds drift away bringing the darkness closer to me

a shining beacon hangs amidst of Nyx's black backdrop

She calls to me becoming

making me loose control of all humanity that is me

She's staring at me, mercilessly, mockingly, joyfully 

I've known for a while now that I am her child

now and forever. Forever hers

I howl at her, implore her to let me be

but no

with a nod she lets me know this is only the beginning 

and with that long road ahead in view I know I have to relent 

More and more blackness envelopes me

crushes the breath right out of my lungs

blurs of black grey and deep red are all I can recall

screams and shrieks are all I still hear

this birth of mine is truly violent. 

The seconds tick away now bringing the light closer

she's loosening her grip on me now 

everything will be alright she says.

I am a child of the moon

please stay away from me when she hangs in full bloom
