Fun Times!

So the past few weeks have been fairly busy for us. We are moving back into my inlaws basement on Aug 15th which means... packing! I absolutely detest packing. It's hard enough to pack without kids, but with kids, it's nearly impossible!

A few weeks ago, I went to see the Backstreet Boys/New Kids On the Block concert. It was awesome! I was a little young for NKOTB, but I do have a video of me when I was 4 singing " The Right Stuff". I went with Ems mum Odilia, and we had a blast. However, when we got there, we noticed a baby mouse running up and down our aisle. I freaked out, but decided not to worry, and thought the mouse was run away. WRONG! At some point in the concert, Odilia was sitting down, and I guess the mouse run into her pocket and died! We found it later and were so grossed out! We complained, and they gave me 4 tickets for the following show on Sunday.

On Saturday, we celebrated Emersons birthday at Cultus Lake. We brought a BBQ and games, and a badminton net.  We got there at 9am to make sure we got a good spot, and we did! The weather was great, and we had our good friends come out. Elijah loved being in the water, and Lily was quite happy too. She barely made a peep the whole day, which is quite unusual for her.

Lily is growing up fast! She smiles a lot, and she's sleeping alot better too. She sleeps for about 6 hours straight at night, which is great. We still need to work on her not having to be held all day because it's just not working out for me.

Elijah is also growing up so fast. He can now sign "more" and "milk". He copies everything you do, and is such a happy content boy. It makes me sad that he's getting so big, but it's also exciting to see him learn new things.
