Getting started!

So I thought I would start a blog since it seems to be the cool thing to do.

Emerson and I are loving being parents to our beautiful baby boy Elijah. He is 10 months old now and learning new things very fast! He can wave, blow kisses, sign "mama", clap, and stand on his own! He amazes us every day. He has brought us so much happiness.

We are getting prepared for the arrival of our daughter Lily! I am 35 weeks pregnant, and ready to have her out! This pregnancy has been harder on me than my first one. The 3rd trimester has been exceedingly difficult because I can't bend over very well! Picking up Elijah is tough, and by the end of the day, I can hardly move! Emerson has been home for a while though, waiting to start his new job. I am so grateful that he is such a hands-on dad, because I couldn't do it without him! He is great with Elijah, and great with me! I am a lucky girl!
